I am attempting to replace a missing adjustable wrench from my tool kit. Now I see there's at least two manufacturers that provide this tool, it appears there's Draper: https://www.barons-auctions.com/view-lot/369/for-sale-at-barons-auctions-rolls-royce-automobilia---toolkit-for-rolls-royce-corniche-silver-shadow-bentley-t And the appropriately named, King Dick: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolls-Royce-Bentley-Silver-Shadow-Wraith-NOS-toolkit-tool-kit-tools-/253491192472 Does anyone know which one would be correct for a 1973 car? |

I had never heard of Draper till several(?) years ago but King Dick was a tool maker when even I was a lad. Maybe Draper had a presence elsewhere, but not in England, I think. Alan D. |

Thanks Alan. Draper was very popular in Australia in the 1970s and 1980s. |

I just had a flash of brilliant inspiration - I went to the garage and looked at the toolkit. My (1971) spanner is marked Draper Made in Germany. Something new every day. Alan D. |

Alan, joy of joys, thank you. I wonder if Joseph Lucas was also a supplier? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Joseph-Lucas-Girder-Minor-No-90-Vintage-Adjustable-Wrench-/153990538813?hash=item23da8d263d%3Ag%3AL-MAAOSwDAxe%7EGNv&nma=true&si=kAIgwGOz%252BDdPl2ulttJfzidas%252Bo%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 |

"I wonder if Joseph Lucas was also a supplier?" It's possible of course - you must wait for replies from others on the forum. I am fairly sure my kit is original, but RR might have supplied whatever they could get(????) Alan D. |
