G'day everyone,..... When I was growing up there was a show on TV called 'Minder'. Staring George Cole and Denis Waterman, I have'nt seen it in may years and I have the first 3-4 seasons on DVD. Well tonight I started re-watching Minder. In 3 of the first 4 episodes there are Silver Shadows,.... Not a bad start, and I remember later Arthur Daley winds up owning one,... Hi.. Silver shadow was in two bond films. License to kill and world is not enough. Unfortunately Robbie Coltrane dodgy Russian accent.. Owns a white one.. That is sawn in half... Mine doesn't behave itself soon I will do the same lol | ||

BERGERAC was filmed in Jersey in '80's. The main character was played by John Nettles-solving crimes. His father in law in shows used a white Silver Cloud 111, hired from a Jersey resident for filming. Quite good series with great views of this beautiful island. I used to look after car as dealer. Jersey is small island of Channel Isles group, located 15 miles from France in bay of St Malo | ||

The 70's detective show Colombo is a great car watching experience. Lot's of RR and Bentley, Jaguar, etc. The show was set in LA so they had no shortage of fancy cars. | ||

OMG, yes Columbo ! I forgot about that. That one were he went into the RR dealership, crawled under a Shadow with a pair of pliers to see if he could reach some wires. People watching outside applauded when he was done ! It was priceless ! | ||

Must be a bit of TV trickery.. I never been able to crawl under my shadow 2. Partly because I dare not. Christine.. Has a mind of her own.. She would probably drop her suspension and crush me. Columbo must of had a reinforced trench coat on and been very very skinny | ||
