Just in case anybody else has a leaking gear selector shaft seal on their GM400 3 speed:

Interesting that the tool costs 3 times what the seal does!!

Until I get the tool and seal, I found a rubber o - ring that fits in front of the seal and has done the trick for now!

It works well. Or at least my one does.

Shame they don't do one for the filter! 😂
