Just in case anybody else has a leaking gear selector shaft seal on their GM400 3 speed: http://www.diymetalfabrication.com/how-to-change-shift-shaft-seal-on-th400-automatic/ Interesting that the tool costs 3 times what the seal does!! Until I get the tool and seal, I found a rubber o - ring that fits in front of the seal and has done the trick for now! |

It works well. Or at least my one does. Shame they don't do one for the filter! 😂 |
