Glen, Syvania bulbs have a website to identify the bulbs needed for each car ever made. Once you've identified the incandescent code number just google for the LED equvalent. Unfortunately even superbright LEDs don't improve the gloom much back there. I ended up mounting a couple of larger LED lights either side on the bootlid and running them off the same circuit from where the light is now - the draw is insignificant. Thats a great site Jeff - very clever. It appears that the instrument panel lights arent the same. They show it to be like the wedge style not the edison screw style. But Silvania did allow me to find what appears to be the correct LED replacement - https://www.jaycar.com.au/ba9s-led-globe-6x5730-leds-canbus-compatible/p/ZD0734 ive found these for the instrument panel lighting - https://www.ledlight.com/e5-midget-round-1-led-multiple-voltage.aspx https://www.jaycar.com.au/12v-lilliput-globes/p/SL2652 As well as the Philips X-treme Ultinon P21W LED 6000k White Reverse Light advised and im well on the way to getting all new stuff!! |

The boot light is a BA9S globe. Generic and commmon size for interior/parker/license plate lights. If you are after a brighter LED replacement, I've had good luck with this type of globe from eBay for $1/pair. I have tried just about every type of cheap eBay LED's over the last few years and found these 5630 chips to be best. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2-x-Car-Truck-Light-Lamp-Bulbs-White-Light-6000K-BAX9S-H6W-DC12V-5730-8SMD-LED/361512792965?hash=item542bd77385:g:eRkAAOSw9GhYgX6B Searching for "BA9S 5630" will bring them up, look for the globes that look like this. They also make a 'double row' of the same globe, but I find they are becoming rare. Order the 'warm white' globes if you still want the classic car glow. Get 5 or 10 as spares.
