Hello All, The following picture was posted on rollsroyceforums.com by someone who's recently acquired a 1973 Corniche.
I have never seen an OEM wheel cover like this in my time dealing with cars from Crewe, and it doesn't strike me as being Crewe-issued for a number of reasons. Even if it is genuine, it certainly wouldn't have been available even bespoke in 1973, would it? I believe this is most likely an aftermarket wheel cover or, best case, taken from a much later car and transplanted. What is the opinion of the cohort? Brian |

Dear Brian, I think it is a standard hubcap from a Wraith/Corniche that someone has drilled a locking device into. The locking device is probably an after market item but I have seen many Shadows that also had locks fitted to their hubcaps. Omar |

Correct and Common as muck. Corniche, Camarges, Wraiths had them as standard. Hythe Road had them coming out of their ears. lol. Lock is an extra - does it go all the way through or just a sticky fake one? ![:-)](http://au.rrforums.net/forum/clipart/happy.gif) |
