I mentioned to Chris Miller that the front calipers were the same as a Ford cortina
The pads should not be used in shadows because they fit and work fine and cost £12 for 4
The cortina is 1300 kg and has two caliper where as a shadow weighs 2300kg and has 4 calipers which means the pads will burn out because all cortinas are driven with care by young careful drivers
Neither should one file XJ jag front pads so they fit shadow rear calipers
Handbrake pads resemble a thin front pad that has been reshaped with a hook welded on the back
It is a well known fact that shadow owners are sensible people who wouldn't dream of the above
