The Everflex on the fuel filler door on LRK37110 has begun to lift at the edges in several spots around the perimeter. I'm just curious as to what glue or glues people have had success using to get the edges to stay down again. Brian, who's used Liquid Nails in the past for larger areas |

Brian - you have to be wary of solvents in the glue degrading the Everflex. Liquid Nails comes in two formulations here; one water-based and the other solvent-based. My suggestion would be to contact several recognised R-R/B or Jaguar motor trimming specialists and seek their advice on what adhesives can and cannot be used safely on Everflex. It appears Everflex is still available and the following link is for a UK supplier who may be able to help with the adhesive question: http://www.martrim.co.uk/catalogue/everflex-vinyl-hooding.html |
