I recently had all the brake lines on my Shadow SRH19305 replaced, I'm almost embarrassed to admit I think they were at least 40 years old, but upon inspection did not look too bad. Anyway out with the old and on with the new. Also had a new Master Cylinder added too as the old was was actually shot to pieces. So why I am posting this? well it's often something that we custodians simply forget, so I urge each and everyone of of you to get them done if they look like they need it. If you have a little bulge and it blows on you, I would not like to be in your seat or at least cleaning it up after you :-) I know you'll still have some feel but even so, you are driving 2.2 tonne of classy car after all. Had new track rod ends as well, so all is good on the steering front as well. Keep servicing those cars, its well worth it in the end Rolls-Royce admired by many, experienced by few.. |
