Does anyone know of a readily available paint that matches the gloss brown that was used on the bevels and edges of the facia/dashboard? I have a few small chips here and there and would like to touch them up, but don't know what is the best type of paint and the best color match for the job. Brian |

Have you checked out modelling shops for (what used to be) Humbrol paints? They used to have many shades of each colour. As the pots are tiny you won't be buying loads more than you need - even if the price per ml might not be the best. I only recall this as I recently won a MK 1a Spitfire model (including paints and glue) in a car club raffle. Made it and it sits in pride of place on top of my 42" plasma TV. |

Search dashboard paint and select ''all words'': a previous discussion comes up first. I'd link it but I'm on a tablet thing and havn't figured out how to cut and paste yet. |

Jeffrey, When I search on "dashboard paint" using the "AND - all words" option this thread comes up first and all other threads (five of them) contain nothing specific regarding bevel paint source or color. Am I doing something wrong? Brian |
