What exactly is inside the Fuel Reciever? This is the long cylinder thingy mounted next to the distributor, and part of the weakener system. Is it just an empty chamber or does it have valves or ports inside it? Does it need any manintenance or cleaning out? Mine has a wobbly top fixed on with a split pin. Is this normal, and what does the wobbly bit at the top do?! |

I'm more familiar with the Shadow II's integrated weakener/fuel reciever, but I'm pretty sure yours just has a single one-way valve at the top to relieve excess float chamber pressure. The weakener venturi and adjustment screw are in a separate thing-a-ma-bob on your car. Jeff. |
