Good afternoon,
Does anyone know what the equivelant reading would be for,
2inches on a Manometer - Hg reading on a vacuum guage ?
Its for setting the weakening device.

Regards

Glynn

2 inches of mercury equals:

6.772776 kPa
0.9823082 PSI
5.08 cm of Mercury
0.06772776 bar
67727.76 micro bar
0.06684211 atmosphere
690 mm or water (approximately)

Do any of these help?

Hi Glyn,
You cant measure this very low vacuum with a normal vac/gauge.{1in Hg=13in of water}.But you can make a simple manometor with 2ft of clear plastic tube, some plywood and coloured water{eg,green coolant or food dye}.
