I have a marooned early Shadow that one of the upper suspension mounts on the sub-frame has come adrift at its weld. This was a common problem that occurred in normal usage and I remember that the dealers in those days gussetted the brackets as soon as they could get their hands on the cars. The Factory issued a Service Bulletin on the problem of which I had a copy but I have mislaid it. Can anybody remember the detail around this problem? |
