Hi,
This is my first post at Australia , iam from Germany and I am 22 jears old. My darling is an Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow from 1972(SRH 17135)

http://www.rrsilvershadow.com/EGall/ERRSS1972SRH13175.htm

My Current issue is the Height control system. I have absolute overhauling all parts. From the pump to the rams. The Rear height control valve have been cleaned and all seals have swaped. The arms of them has been new adjusteded, but the Solenoid valve and Restrictor valve made problems.
.

The Height control system works perfectly, only when I take off the Restrictor Roller from the restrictor valve.

Results in any danger or disadvantage if the system has been used without the Restrictor Roller

Attached you can see a picture of my trys with the setting of the valves

Hi Carl,

Not 100% sure what you are asking here.

With the restrictors operating, the suspension should only move slowly. Slow levelling. This is what you need when the car is moving otherwise the suspension will try to change as you corner etc and throw the car completely out of line. Fast levelling should only work in park.neutral and with the doors open.(varies on years)

The rear is too high in the photograph. Often you will need to move the arm on the HCV spindle to get the correct adjustment range.

This may be useful

Sorry, this is a computer model of the suspension. More details at http://www.samag.no/silvershadow/

Wouldn't recommend downloading .exe files normally.
