Philippo, Your file will not download as it has the wrong file extension [.unk] because it is a BMP image. This format is not used for this forum. Please convert your image to GIF or JPEG format as these are the only formats that can be used and repost. Thanks David |

Irfanview will open the file, first requesting approval to rename. For those who don't have this free program, it is by far the best graphics viewer for all Windows Operating Systems. |

Hi Philippo, No problems that cannot be fixed - just resize the image to 640 x 480 or 480 x 640 pixels and upload. This is the best size as it fits neatly on the screen and users do not have to scroll from side-to-side to view the photo or read the text of other posts in the thread. |

Dear Paul, I am certainly interested. I am also in contact with introcar, flying spares to find out a solution. The best price/quality will have my preferences. Please send me pictures of the panels to be sure that we talk about the same things. As you may see on the previous message, i need external AND internal panels. Thanks a lot Best of regards |

I know this post is quite old now, but I have just started cutting out the rust on the rear lower panel (valance) on my Bentley T(SBH14656)and find that it has had a poor repair from previous accident/corrosion. Like Philippo I have toyed with the idea of replacing the panel but it looks one hell of a job and wonder wether it would be easier to just weld in new metal on the bottom corners. Did Philippo take any resto pics as he went along and did the replacement panel fit right. Also I notice that Philippo's has the same D shaped grommet holes as mine but according to RR parts manual they were squarish on series 1 and D shape on series 2. Sorry this is long and possibly confusing. Regards, Rod.(UK)

Dear Rod, Due to the technical difficulties to replace the rear valence, i send it back to Introcar because the "pirate part" doesn't fit really well into the Shadow1 because this piece of metal is prepared for Shadow1 or Shadow2 and then you have to modify and adapt the panel before welding. What i am doing , is replacing the rear corners with new panels. |

Hi Philippo, Many thanks for your speedy reply, I thought that replacing the panel was going to be seriously involved, and was also concerned that the repair panels were not up to the job. Looks like I will be spending a lot of time in the garage over the coming months fabricating and welding. Regards, Rod.
