I have a very sad Bentley S3 with a missing pushrod...it's been removed to repair another car prior to my ownership. The shadow pushrods have a different part no... Does anyone know if there is any compatibility with the heads on the Cloud/S3? Specialist sell 50thou shorter ones for skimmed Cloud/S heads...will that work on an umskimmed never opened S3 V8? Any ideas/inspiration welcome! Dave |

Flying Spares, part number for original is RH14157. They tell me that is a recycled one.

Hi Chris, Yes, unfortunately it's not available... They offer the shorter one for skimmed heads but won't confirm it's compatibility with standard engines... So I have dilemma (and a non functioning V8)... Thanks, Dave |

I believe the hydraulic lifter has some compliance - that's the whole idea, but dunno if 50 thou extension is out-of-range. |

I managed to get a standard pushrod from IntroCar so I don't need to explore the shortened rod compatibility. Still need to assemble the engine and get it to run.. carb and dizzy rebuild first. |
