www.kda132.com was supposed to be a site for '46-'55 cars but under pressure from friend David Chaundy who has completely rebuilt his Cloud II to Concours condition, I've agreed to put the story on my site. The first two parts cover his love of the cars, selecting this one and rebuilding what was a very troublesome engine. In particular he deals with valve gear problems and liner distortion and suggests remedies based on research into Company records at the Hunt House. Everything else will follow and, as you will see from the photographs, the work is of the very highest quality. |
