The turn signal stalk (RHD) on my 61 Cloud is chrome but only a few inches long (maybe 2"). Was the car delivered that way or is the remainder of the stalk missing? I can't see that it has been broken off. If it has not broken off, how is it attached?

A photo would help illustrate your circumstances. Sounds like stalk is shorter than originally. My '59 Cloud I uses dash mounted trafficator switch rather than steering column stalk as on your Cloud II.
