There are two small lights between the front and back doors (at the top) on my 61 RHD Cloud. They blink with the turn signals or can be turned on with a switch on the dash. I have only seen them on one other RHD Cloud. Does anyone know anything about them? Richard |

Marchal side marker lights. Hopefully. Round with a white lens to the front and red to the rear? An option and I think mandatory for some countries. Fairly common. |

Is what I would expect. Perhaps because it's wired to the indicators? I have seen plain ones in the past. Do you know where the car was built for ? |

Can't remember, but could be parking lights for leaving car in unlit street, that I think was Law in UK in '60's when I lived there. May be activated by a dash switch, or on some cars by putting that side indicator on with ignition off. Early Shadow models had a switch, that if left on inhibited engine from starting. Remember irate owners really annoyed about this Shadow feature until it was dropped by Crewe |

Yes, back in the 50-60s it was a requirement to have side marker lights [parking lights] on if the car was parked on the side of the roads in built up areas. After fitment on many cars in the UK. Italian Marshal lights, were they standard fitment with other Lucas parts on Clouds? I have a Italian bodied English car that has Lucas and Cobo telecambioluce and Marshal lights. |
