I had my 61 Cloud delivered today. Should the temperature (upper & lower) switch panel have bulbs that light up that panel when the lights are on? How about the panel for the windshield wipers & panel lights? Mine do not light up but assume they should.

These panels are not backlit. They are solid metal so far as I recall. In general, the instrument lighting performance is the pathetic side of awful. Try pulling the combination light switch to see if the capping rail light helps. Also pulling the panel light switch will also activate the map light(s). Perhaps that's why people refer to Lucas Electrics as the "Prince of Darkness".
