Pull the wires up on the distributor and check to see the steel spikes are not corroded and they are making good contact with the wire. I'm assuming that your running solid copper wires. Resistor wires don't play well with the spikes. What brand of plugs are you running and are they resistor type ? Are you still running the original rotor with the resistor built in, if you are, you need to go to non-resistor plugs. Spark should be bright blue to white, not orange. What kind of spark plug caps are you running, DYI or store bought. |
