Anyone know of a used source for these, I'm trying to make up my Canadian plate with the Ace Cornercroft letters,

I need the "5" and "8".

I contacted Tony Handler and The Luxury Junkyard and I still need the 5 and 8.

I was hoping that someone here may know of another wrecker.

Or if someone here has what I need in descent condition, I will pay $100.00 each.

I think Jaguar used them as well, but I'll start here first.

I don't think one could change them around like on our cars either.

Thanks !

Jeff,

Found this reference on a car and classic website sale listing to a company using the Cornercroft dies they purchased when the Company ceased trading:

Website: www.acepeakplates.com

Email: info@acepeakplates.com

Landline: 00353 1 4523206.

Mobile: 00353 834513460.

I presume the phone numbers are domestic UK - the website is still live.

Thanks David, I came across that too on a Jaguar forum, I haven't checked for sure, but I think all they do is solid cast aluminum letters, no translucent illuminated ones.

Jeff,

Have a look at the TVR Back-lit plates on the website below:

Yes, I have come across that, a local sign place very near me could do the same thing by making a reverse cut out with black vinyl, and then applied on white translucent piece of plastic.
I would have to do my my own lettering, but I'm capable of that.

I was hoping for some luck by posting here that someone may know of a source for the original ones that I need, how difficult can it be to find a 5 and 8 ?
Maybe more so then a I thought.

Acepeakplates is based in Eire. The phone numbers are Republic of Ireland numbers not UK ones.

Hi Jeff, you could try this contact. He is in Nottinghamshire and has helped me with ACE prismatic digits and letters in the past. His name is Ralph Dukes and his e mail is Ralph.lamps@yahoo.co.uk.
Good luck,
Martin
