Sorry the header is incorrect…I can’t edit that, it should read ZS1. I’m slightly embarrassed to make this post, but here goes. Until now, when I have changed the oil in the Wraith, I have dumped the oil from the canister, refilled it and kept rolling. I’ve now put about 1,000 miles on the car and I would like to change the filter for peace of mind. My assumption was that the canister would separate in the middle and one would replace a cartridge. Now it appears the entire cartridge is to be replaced…, is that true? If so, recommendations for a replacement and what fellow owners are doing would be appreciated. I see a aftermarket canister with a modern filter hiding inside. Thank you.

Hi Jack
I am currently lolling about in Bali & won’t be back home for another 2 weeks. So I don’t have all my information readily at hand. The best place to start is the topic “Wraith External Oil Filter” with the last posting on 16 March 2018 in this Small HP section.
Since then, both Peter Jordan-Hill and I have both continuously used the ZS1 replacement filter housing and its replaceable modern filter element produced by Design and Development Engineering Ltd from the UK with excellent results.
This modern filter has served both our Wraiths without problem. Sorry, but I don’t have the website name at hand, but I am sure a Google search will find it. I have recently put my 5th replacement filter in the housing.

Hi John
Thank you! I hope you enjoy Bali! I got back from Surabaya on Friday and although I was there for work, the weather was lovely!
So, I did not see that post before…I guess my search chops are not the best. I will let google also be my guide.
Enjoy!
