Can anyone help? I have drawn a blank to who the coach builder was for the car details as follows. Listed as a 1937 20/25 Sedansa-De-ville. Chassis No GXM 79. Eng T26K. The reg No is JX5200. The car seems to have been through Leverton and Sons NW1 early in its life. Pictures below.

Pat, GXM79 is a 25/30, not a 20/25. According to the RREC database the coachbuilder is not known. There is a similarity to James Young in some of the detail but the de-ville section is of the cheapskate studded hood style rather than sun-roof and folding cant rails. Sorry, but I can add nothing further. SB www.boddice.co.uk

Thanks Stephe for the quick reply. I assume the chassis was built in 1936 as it seems that GXM was listed from March to October 36. Then first registered in 37. |

Hi Folks, GXM79 is a 25/30 and she belongs to me. The body is a quite unusual Brougham-Style Sedanca de Ville by Barker. Due to the body number at the A-post it can be identified as being inherited from a 20/25.
