Theo, I am certain this topic has been covered in the past and I suggest you try searching the following topics using key word "gauge": 1. Small Horsepower 2. Early Post-War 3. Silver Cloud & Bentley S 4. Silver Shadow 5, Silver Spirit Doing these one-at-a-time should make finding relevant posts easier but tedious as you will then have to find a mention of repainting/refurbishment/relabelling to cover your requirement. Good luck in finding useful information or one of our members might by able to post their own experience in response to this post. |

This stuff, I think it's on the forum somewhere. I've never used it myself, but the ones that did, it made an easy job of it. Great dash BTW, but I'll say it, that modern radio, TSK TSK... https://www.micro-tools.com/products/l51120 |

Haha! Jeff I can’t disagree. Thank goodness the pic I posted was just something I scraped from the web for illustrative purposes. If it was mine there would be a screwdriver looming over that radio on day one! |

You can buy a paint crayon. This is used to write over the engraving and fills the engraving and wipe off the excess. This is not the same as a paint "marker". |

So it seems theres a worldwide shortage of these little beauties - alternatively if you can find one overseas, they will gladly send it to you for $80 which strikes me as a little ordinary!! Does anyone know of an Australian supplier or stockist? The inter-web isn't being kind to me at the moment. Many thanks for your help. |
