Omar, I have been sniffing at a Dubai internet site to find a low milage 1992 Spur at 55,000 AED in spifo nick and a 1990 Black Spur at 70,000 AED. Could these be bogus prices or perhaps cases of expats car where the owner has high tailed it across the border on a Dominican Republic passport to avoid being flung perpetually in jail for debts. The prices appear to be one third of that in Oz. Buy the way what is the yearly registration cost and how much in fuel per litre in Dubai? Vladimir | ||

Dear Vlad, These are real prices mate. We have a huge second hand market in Dubai that has more cars in it than there are customers. Prices are very good for buyers - so come to Dubai and buy all your cars. I saw a few Bentley Turbo Rs of the late 80s early 90s going for 15,000 Dirhams. All Japanese imports. A bit rough but still useable. |
