I've a friend who spent 15 years working in Australia. He tends to drink a lot of beer and whenever he has a hangover he says "I'm as sick as a chocolate frog". Is that an Australian expression or is it just his way of describing his condition? |

Larry - I have never heard that one. Mind you, a chocolate frog would be pretty sick here today. The temp. got up to 47.3 C; the hottest since 1939. That's about 117 F. Even the bees are falling out of the sky with the heat. Regards, Brian |

Patrick R, I seriously doubt that, my "knowledge" on the subject consists of eating marmite once ever. However, having spend the last 24 hours sitting in front of a computer parsing a 133 page technical manual it's no effort to google marmite vs vegemite. Which my the by turns up a product called iSnack 2.0 which is cheese and vegemite. Hard to believe that's a thing. |

The iSnack2.0 wasn't a bad thing. My kids didn't mind it, but I found it a bit weak on the Vegemite side. Cheese & Vegemite sandwiches are quite popular here. It was the name that caused the huge controversy. There was a national competition to name the new product. iSnack won, then there was an uproar as to how stupid it wss, so KRAFT just named it themselves. The above images show all 3 products. I have the same 3 unopened bottles |
