Hi last week I bought a Omitec Omiscan diagnostic kit, estimated delivery date Wednesday 06, the white van arrived and I got the package, on opening the package I was surprised to find inside two pairs of overalls bright orange fire retardant for use in welding and grinding jobs if they had been my size they would have been great for working in the garage, so after a lot of emails the problem is being resolved, What have you been sent by mistake. Richard. |

I have never been sent anything by mistake, however about 4 years ago I ordered $120 worth of leather dye from Leatherique. It never arrived, even though tracking said it had. The local post office had a good search for the missing parcel but to no avail. The interesting thing is, when I went to complain the person in front of me in the queue had also had a pack of important business documents go missing, which made me question further how reliable the service was. Needless to say this incident threw my confidence in the US Postal Service, so in addition to Richard's question, could I ask if anyone else has lost things in the post. I'm trying to gauge how rare or common this event is. |

I ordered an Escort radar detector in the late 80's. UPS dropped it at my front door but it wasn't there when I got home. It took a little doing, but I did get a replacement. The box was sent signature required and no one signed for it. Makes me wonder if the UPS driver nicked it for himself. |

I ordered a blue ray player , after a lot of hassle the courier (who's name sounds like Alpine type singing) admitted it was probably nicked on the night shift, finally got a replacement months later . Mike |

Dear Mark I like the sound of your Escort Radar Detector. I am sure in this modern era it will have a different connotation than in the 80s. Maybe when Vlad comes to visit me we may invest in a modern day version of one of those........... Happy Days............... |

Omar, "Back in the day" The Escort was the best you could get. And since I was driving over 100,000 miles a year, I needed that. |

I've accumulated a small collection of ER-11 CNC spring collet clamping nuts via eBay. I wanted to have a nut per collet so I could quickly change for different diameter tools. I would order four nuts from a vendor on the assurance that they were 12mm high but those that arrived were invariably 14mm high, which is too long a thread for my CNC machine's tool holder. Each time I've pointed out the error, the vendor has simply refunded my money and let me keep the nuts (which I can't use). Eventually I gave up trying to find 12mm nuts and resigned myself to having only one, changing the collet in it every time I have to use a different diameter tool. |
