My feet and lower legs swelled up and my feet turn purple (smurf).

I have been prescribed compression stockings with me toes sticking out one end(s). quite comfy.

All need now is 2 sparks plugs and I will have rocket boots.

My motor bike boots don't fit so motor biking is out for the moment. However I have a nice Muddy fox mountain bike which may help the swelling.

Robert,
keep your feet at same height as hips when sitting ie elevated, this should reduce odema to lower feet.our system is quite like the rolls Royce silver shadow braking system with regards pressure gradient and return valves.

Yes.

I have an electric cot in my lounge with the foot end tipped up.

Legs have have little pumps attached to the calf muscles which pump blood back to the heart/lungs so walking and cycling help.
