HYDRAULICALLY SUSPENDED MOTOR CARS –MYTHS, LEGENDS AND REALITY

[OR BRITISH ENGINEERING EXPERTISE APPLIED TO A FRENCH INVENTION]

The NSW Branches of the Rolls-Royce Owners Club and the Citroen Car Club have organised a joint technical session on the hydraulic systems used in our respective cars. The session will comprise a presentation on the history, development and applications of the Citroen systems that are the basis for the Rolls-Royce adaptations followed by a presentation on the Rolls-Royce systems. These presentations will be followed by a Question & Answer session where shared experiences, problems and solutions will be discussed.

After the presentations, a range of different cars from each marque will be made available for detailed examination of the respective systems.

The day will conclude with a joint cavalcade of cars to a suitable park/open area for refreshments and the opportunity to ride/drive each others cars.

Prebooking for this event is not required however to assist with catering, it would be appreciated if you could advise the organiser if you intend participating.
