if I am correct regarding the fitting of theses, The plastic retaining clips were never that good. I used to add a couple to each wheel/trim ring as extra security, which appeared to stop our owners losing the trim so frequently.

Gordon, you are very correct.

If they still feel loose renew the clips.

They still seem to like exploring hedgerows though. :-(

A little bit of something sticky helps as well.

Quite a few owners have their wheels refurbed with a mirror finished outer cm and put the remaining rims away.
