Is anyone able to advise please, on effective methods of cleaning the lambswool over-rugs? Were it not for the hessian backing I would wash them. Dry cleaners I have approached are hesitant to do them, as are carpet cleaners who specialise in rug cleaning. Any advice would be appreciated. | ||

Hi Brian, I cleaned the over rugs in my Shadow SRH 15571 with an aerosol can of Cavalier carpet stain remover, available from the local supermarket over here. Mine were quite dirty when I purchased the car but a couple of treatments with this stuff and they have come up as good as new. It will also remove tar from your floor carpets. It's about $6 NZ for a 400 ml can and two cans were enough for the complete car. Just follow the instructions on the tin. Kind regards, Doug M. | ||
