Hi All
Can anyone advise me. I've released my n/s exhaust manifold to replace gaskets etc but unable to thread it through and out. What other units need to be removed for me to achieve this. Would the alternator need to be removed?
Thank you for any replies

Hi All

Very sorry for such a stupid question!!

I went and took the alternator off and the manifold nearly jumped out itself.

very sorry.

Hi Roger

Good to hear you have solved this problem.

I also replaced the manifold gaskets on my car a few years ago but as I had removed quite a lot of ancillary equipment beforehand, I could not give you a meaningful reply when you asked the question i.e. I did not know if it was sufficient to just remove the alternator. I recall it was a difficult job accessing the bolts.
