Hello Oracles.

My car is not near me at the moment, I need to order a piece or rubber mat to be stitched into the drivers footwell carpet.

What size is the heel pad? Could someone nip out to their motorhouse with a rule and measure for me?

Thanks

Hi Ben,

assuming you mean the heelpad in the carpet and not the one in the lambswool overmats, they are as follows on my car (Shadow 1979) : 395mm x 250mm
(15.55" x 9.84").

Hope this helps.

Hi Ben

Mine is 16.25" by 8.25". I suspect Benoit's car is closer to the original - mine looks aftermarket. My car is a 74 SY1.

This pic may help:

For the record the RHD 74/5 heel pad size is 15.75in X 8.50in.
This is from my original carpet off the SS1 at 44 years of age.

And the worn sheepskin rug with a replacement heal pad stitched in last week.

Larry sadly not myself doing the work.
I just keep an interesting eye on things as the years progress.

However the warmer weather is coming so you hopefully may get a little more wear out of them!
