The Oil presure gauge on my 1953 SW BLW66 is stuck on the max. reading of 40 psi.
I have removed the gauge from the car and checked that the needle is free to move and not rubbing on anything but it just springs back to the max. position.
Could the bourdon tube be blocked and not allowing the pressure to escape when the engine is stopped.
Any suggestions please?
