Hi, I'm new to the group and am looking for advice on the excessive play I have in the brake pedal of my P11. According to the handbook, the amount of free play in the brake arms and servo is correct, any idea what the problem could be?

I'm acting on knowledge on how the brake system on my Mark VI is, and it probably is similar when there is too much pedal travel.
The rear brakes need nipping up to get rid of excessive shoe travel to the drum.

Hello Mark

https://rroc.org.au/wiki/index.php?title=Technical:Wraith

The above link will direct you to the Wraith handbook, this is a pre-war car with not the same, however a similar braking system, there is a diagram plus explanation of adjustment.

Trust that helps.

Regards
David
