SYB74 – 1956 Colours Black Pearl and Shell Grey according to Bassoli and King page 106. I think the grey has been redone in a darker shade. She comes with her original Owner’s Manual and full records from 1987. She has been cared for by RA McDermott and RA Chapman prior to my purchase of her in 2006. (I have a spreadsheet of all work from 1987, that I can email). Her overall condition is good to very good. Speedo shows 104,918 miles. Her faults include: Some panels could do with a re-spray. Her rear brakes need attention Head lining at rear is water stained Dampers need overhaul-they leak fluid She may benefit from new valve seal guides but a local specialist has just advised giving her a good run once or twice a month. Her pluses include: New electric SU fuel pumps Very good timber work Carpets replaced Tyres only 900km old Air Conditioned after I bought her Engine bay in well above average condition – powder coated air filter and sound dampener and inlet manifold. All spark plug leads new-7mm copper ‘Ignitor’ electronic ignition Her undercarriage has been extensively treated with POR 15 Original jack, lamp and other tools present She has a reversing mirror Original radio functioning I have not advertised her elsewhere as I wish her to go to an enthusiast.
