In every (almost) consumer review/ road test of the very impressive Bentley Continental GT, there appears a photograph and reference to its dash mounted "Brietling" clock. Cant imagine why owners would generally be pre-occupied with the time except perhaps to monitor the Dow Jones or cross check and synchronise with the "Rolex" Submariner which (if it is like my own ) will always be correct anyway. Does anyone know the reason/s for this apparent fascination with "the clock" compared to many other more worthy and interesting features found in this unique vehicle?

I thought Breitling closed for business when quartz watches took over, now twenty five years on, someone has bought the name and is pushing it for all it is worth!

I expect Swatch made the mechanism!
