Does anyone know how to depressurise the Hydraulic system in a 1991 Bentley turbo-r. I'm try to replace a front accumulator valve and still have to much pressure in the system.

oh dear.....post in the wrong place.....

The answer is just keep pumping the pedal until all the pressure dissipates. lots of pedal pumps (with the engine switched off!!!)

See step 1 in How to Bleed & Flush Your SZ Series Brakes/Hydraulics Easily.

That's the easy way, in my opinion, and you also then have a rough assessment of the condition of your accumulators based on how many pedal presses it takes before the lamp(s) illuminate [more is better].
