The old wing mirror left 2 holes in the stainless window frame on the drivers side.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this?
Or am i required to buy a whole new window frame?

How about getting some stainless steel bolts and turning the heads to a dome shape and fitting them in the holes?
Not a perfect fix but better than replacing the whole frame

Following Trevor's train of thought, search the googler for "Chrome button plug"
They're available in any size and might be available at your local hardware store.

To fit the new mirrors you will need to cut 3 holes in the outer skin of the door.
The bracket that holds the mirror is fitted INSIDE the door with the lugs poking through the outer holes with the wires going through the center.
Hope this helps

Take them off, have someone TIG weld up the holes, file and sand flat using finer and finder emery paper then polish to match the rest of the frame. There may be a slight difference in the shade of the repair depending on the stainless alloy used in the filler rod.
