Dear Silver Cloud Experts.
Would someone please advise if Silver Cloud Wheel Covers are the same shape/material for Cloud's 1,2 and 3.
The covers fitted to my vehicle are in need of repair/replacement.
Regards
David

David I ta'aint an expert mate but I have some vague knowledge on the subject. The 'form' of the hub cap is the same for all the Clouds and S Types but the 'ones' appear to have had steel caps nickel and chrome plated. All the others are stainless steel and polish up very well. If you are buying replacements and yours would have to be the absolute pits because I have had re-furbished some pretty bad examples to perfection! Be careful to not buy early Silver Shadow caps by mistake They look the same but are really quite different. The best clue is that the Cloud ones do not have a locating peg on the back nor do they use a spring ring to hold them on - features of the Shadow. The pics may be of interest

they are similar

PS Any good plating shop will repair plate and/or polish whatever you have. You will need to get new clinche rings as the paint rings have to come off. These are available. The cost of new items is slightly over AUD2400.
