A lovely car for preservation rather than restoration. Wish I had the space.

Patrick,

As usual - happy to have been able to help.

I do not know what happened for the duplicate thread to appear the way it did - have never seen individual posts combined into one single post in the format displayed in the thread before.

One of life's little mysteries I guess.

High David I must confess it was myself and my visiting grandson that did the thread the way it was!

My old computor is still going strong and still always learn something new.
Not spelling so it seems as I look back on all my postings!

Chassis B259DZ, delivered to Claude Wallis/Iliffe& Sons Ltd, publishers of "Autocar" Jan 1949.
Original Reg LLG186 (London), in UK 1966 with Mr Carroll. (A bit of Blarney!)
If I were just a bit sillier, I would have it for my oily rag runabout, at 12 MPG(!!).

The car sold with a hammer price of £20,400 pounds.
A dead original car and good value but not for me.
