Depending on the type of system but in most cases when failure to proceed, the system needs re-programing. This can be done closing all doors but do not lock, keeping the key and fob at the ready. unlock the boot if not already done so. With the battery fully charged and the isolator switched "on"} proceed to disconnect just the NEG -} battery terminal, wait for 1 minute then reconnect and wait! all hell will brake loose. With the key fob "activate" the central locking wait till alarm stops. With the fob undo the central locking, get in and if all is ok then the LED lights should flash. If ok, start car in the normal way. Note make sure the fob battery is not more that three years old, depending on use. |
