Hello All, I could swear that at some point in the past someone posted the wiring diagrams for a number of, if not all, of the SZ series cars in a format that would allow you to print out a generously sized version that one could piece together for hanging on the wall of one's workshop. In this case, the one desired is for the Silver Spirit II, 1990 model year. If I am remembering correctly, and someone could point me to them, I'd appreciate it. Brian | ||

Maybe it was MS Paint, haven't done any in a long time. Selected the jpeg of the wiring diagram, enlarged it, then selected 'poster' and it would print on as many pages as necessary. I did one once for the bodyframe of a design for a coachbuilt body and printed it out full size to trace out on the ash for the body frame. That was about 100 pages I had to trim and tape together to get the 1:1 scale. Maybe you can enlarge and print 'poster' on Adobe Photoshop, I can't recall if I tried it using that or not. I just went to Photoshop (I think mine is the old 5.1 I don't like 6 and a above) and it does not have poster. Nor MS Paint (gees I haven't gone into that since the 80's). And Notepad is text only. | ||

Mike. have a look at the software mentioned in the folllowing link: https://windowsreport.com/poster-design-software/ I suspect the GIMP software might suit your needs but I have never had the need to create posters. My daughter-in-law is a Graphic Design specialist and I will ask her if she is aware of something that would be suitable for your needs. I have Photoshop CS2 and I am confident I could make a poster of any size from multiple images by setting a custom size for the final image and using the "Move" tool to transfer and position individual images in a large poster format. I have done this on a small scale up to A1 paper size but have never gone bigger so I do not know what, if any, restrictions apply to the maximum size image that can be created in Photoshop. . | ||

I know what Jim Walters is talking about. Virtually all Windows programs that handle files that would print out on paper sizes far larger than your average printer have a tiled (posterized) option to do a print out of the whole thing in pages that one then trims edges from and tapes together. I still do not know exactly where one pulls a full wiring diagram for a 1990 or later SZ motorcar from in IETIS, though. I'd imagine the print option for that would support tiled printing in some way. It would be nice if one could save the thing as a PDF and take it to a print shop with a large format printer so that it could be printed as a single sheet, though. Brian | ||

I downloaded the diagrams for my car from the Bentley site (cleaner resolution) and brought them to Staples for enlargement. One could them tape together and bring back to Staples to be mounted and laminated to a poster size. I have mine pinned to foamcore. |
