Does anyone know of a manufacturer who still produces whitewalls in 235-70-15? My local distributor tells me that Goodyear still produce the RSA for police use but only as a blackwall. He also states that the Avon turbosteel is no longer avaliable. Thanks Dave |

http://www.antiquetyres.com.au/tyre-brands/bf-goodrich-whitewall-radial?page=1 They advertise BF Goodrich in that size with wide white walls. There are others with thin white walls. |

Just make sure that they are rated at 101H or higher for legality and safety. 102V is OK, as are 106V, the standard recommended by Crewe. RT. |

David, I just purchased a set of 225/75/15 white wall Maxxis for LRH 8376 but am yet to fit them to the car so can't give a road test report just yet. Anyway I paid $195 each fitted, my friend owns the local tyre shop where I live in West Aust. I don't believe they make a 235/70/15, but definitely a 235/75/15 http://www.maxxis.com/AutomobileLight-Truck/Passenger/MA-1.aspx Shane |
