I had a concrete pad that weighted in at several hundred pounds so I cut it into 8 smaller pieces.

I loaded them into the RR to ferry them to the dumpster where I was getting rid of them.

The low trunk liftover and hydraulic rear suspension make this a prefect job for a silver shadow.

VW golf, ... not so much.

Good on you. I love a car that is used as a car. I just came home with a 9x5 trailer full of firewood behind a MK VI, emptied it, turned round and brought it home full of wood chips. Forgot to take pics. I used to collect photos of odd loads on my S1 Landrover, now I do it with Bentleys.

Driving that Golf would give a whole new meaning to "tail wagging the dog".

Jean,

It's funny, I,m totally OK with the RR hauling a dead boar, but I cannot Imagine doing that and not taking a picture. Next time a boar goes in, take a second and get that picture.

Carl,

I was actually thinking of putting a trailer hitch on, did you make plates with holes for the bumper mounts behind the valance? Is there a commercial hitch available somewhere?

Even worse than I always try to haul loads in the RR, is that I also own a Ford 7.3L diesel pickup.

Patrick, Ross

It fitted in the trunk, I had no camera or phone with me. Found the beast freshly shot by hunters laying in the middle of a little road next to my friend's place. Took it home : We don't waste good meat here.

...and within moments after your departure, the hunters probably turned up, and exclaimed with surprise, "I am SURE I hit him, but the blood trail stops here, just next to these tire tracks..."

Ross, It's just pipe welded to angle iron bolted between the chassis and bumper brackets. Was made for B188AK in the 60s. The only problem is the spare door will not open with the tongue in place. But of course you are thinking of your Shadow. When you do it I want the plans for my T.

Patrick,

Omar has the front clip of an RR to make a grill out of, so that part is done.

Omar,

While a great parts resource, that does not have a grill and irony would not let you convert a grill-less RR into a grill.

Sorry, it cosmic law.

Dear Ross,
I have the grill and missing lighting parts too. I chose not to leave them on the carcass outdoors.
This car has paid for itself 3 times over in the parts I recovered from it. It was a Japanese import which I drove to its resting place 5 years ago.
I am now converting the back seat into a sofa.

Dear Patrick,
You and all the team are always welcome for a visit.

Dear Bob,
My wife will kill me if I bring any more car related stuff to the house. She hasnt yet forgiven me for the 4 post lift that I installed 2 years ago.
The boot is all in tact and still part of the car -It will go to the scrap yard when I get forced to get rd of it.

Well look at the bright side Richard - if we do all end up in jail it will be a fun place to be. All we will need is the rest of the forum chaps to get some contraband smuggled in to keep us on a high...
For that reason - the original suggestion was Amsterdam. But for the first trip - I think we will do London so we can get you, Bob UK and Paul Yorke to also join us
