Thanks Mike. That section and the rest of the document was great reading. Loved the old time GM ad. I have lots of genuine newspaper ads fro my 25 Chev. Question: Has anyone fitted a 4L80E overdrive transmission into a Shadow? Or in fact any overdrive unit? |

Hi Jean, Thanks for the reply. They do seem to be a good unit. I followed this up on another post with an image of a Gearvendor unit actually on a US TH400. I fear that they will not fit due to the electronic shift actuator. |

I don't know if he fits them, but this guy manufactures and overhauls them. Useful for those of us lucky enough to live in God's own county! |
