I am looking at a 1994 Bentley Turbo R which the vendor says has the Cosworth developed Engine. Hmm internet info says that Cosworth developed the zytec injection in 1996 and it had 385 bhp. Who is telling fibs here. If I do buy the car RA Chapman in Melbourne will be checking it out and collecting the car which the vendor claims to be in immaculate condition. Yes that may be so and that may also be not so. Would gratefully appreciate any input or comment from you find gentlemen |

When Arnage developed it was with 4 liter bmw v8. Cosworth did the heads/turbo for crewe. This engine was only used in 1998/9my cars as the general reception was not very kind. Being only 4 liter as opposed to 6.75of the previous spirit/mulsanne range, it felt underpowered and whilst on paper had sasimilar power/torque figure, to obtain same max pore had to be graven like a rally car instead of the awesome performance of turbo r. |
