All, I did a quick search but couldn't find any threads on this: My Temp & Fuel gauge stick in the zero position until given a tap...but over time the tap is becoming a whack to the extent I'm afraid of breaking the glass. This is a common issue I believe...is there a known fix?? |

The needle end stops become gluey over time. The permanent repair is to remove the instrument from the dashboard, then undo the bezel and glass to open it up. With the needle/s held to about half with a little tape, paint the needle end stops with clear nail varnish and let them dry overnight. Job done. RT. |
