Hi all

I am about to start reassembly after having the water pump rebuilt. However, I have a question relating to the viscous fan which I need to resolve before I bolt it back onto the car. In the picture below, should the little tag on the spring (arrowed yellow) not sit inside the groove in the tag arrowed red? Or is it correct as in the picture?
